Hello everybody!!!

Hello there!!!

When I was assigned to teach Communicative English 1, I felt so enthusiastic and excited.  I believed it must be fun and interesting teaching English for communication.  Looking at the syllabus, there are a lot of things to be taught.  Students were found to be having fun learning the English as hundred percent of the lessons required students to communicate, interact and discuss.  The most important thing that I realised was to be able to make (or in other word~force) the students to speak!!!

Nevertheless, I noticed that one of the problem that I faced (not sure about other lecturers) was to find the materials or notes to be given to students.  It took me hours/days to prepare for the lesson and to think how to make the lesson interesting.  Plus, students were also required/encouraged to find the notes on their own.
It made me wonder how to monitor their learning and how to guide them in searching for the suitable notes/materials/content.

Due to that, I thaught....why not having a blog!  This is to give a space for students to go back and read the notes as the preparation for them before they come to class!  Probably, they could also find other notes based on the one that have been provided in the blog!  The materials/notes provided in this blog are based on my reading from few books and websites.  I compiled them and I chose only the materials or content that I believed suitable to be taught.

I hope this blog could benefit everyone! Kindly find the topics in the archive on the right side of this page.  It might not be a reader-friendly page as this is my first attempt...(",)! Don't hesitate to ask questions, make comments as well as suggestions. Thank you and happy reading! ^_^
